What is a SIG?
As an active APTA Pelvic Health member, you are eligible to join different special interest groups. A special interest group (SIG) is a sub-community within APTA Pelvic Health membership. Current members can join these SIGs for free to pursue a shared interest in advancing a specific area of knowledge or learning where members can connect, collaborate and help develop solutions within their particular topic area or produce new educational resources and networking opportunities.
About the PEDSIG
The Pediatric Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Special Interest Group (PPHPT SIG) is committed to advancing the field of pediatric pelvic health physical therapy through education, research, and advocacy. We strive to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals, promote research, and advocate for the needs of pediatric patients and their families by providing a cohesive platform for collaboration, innovation, and outreach. We aim to improve the quality of care and outcomes for children with pelvic health conditions.
