Share Your Perspective: Participate in APTA's National Survey on AI in Physical Therapy
Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming physical therapy practice, education, and research—and we want to hear your perspective.
In collaboration with the APTA AI Task Force, APTA is conducting the first nationally representative survey on the use and impact of AI in physical therapy. Your input will help shape APTA's advocacy efforts, policy positions, educational resources, and future guidance for the profession.
How Your Participation Will Help
Survey findings will directly support initiatives such as:
- Protecting clinicians and patients from inappropriate payer use of AI.
- Developing AI education and literacy resources for PT and PTA programs.
- Identifying opportunities and challenges surrounding AI adoption across the profession.

Whether you use AI every day, are just beginning to explore it, or have never used it at all, your voice matters. We encourage participation from all PT and PTA professionals, including those working in:

Survey Details
The survey closes August 1, 2026, and takes approximately 18–25 minutes to complete. All responses are completely anonymous.
