Amanda I Nelski, SPT

I am a student physical therapist who is set to graduate in December 2027 with the hope of pursuing a residency. I knew before I applied to DPT programs that I wanted to specialize in pelvic health. My background as a ballet and modern dancer is what initially led me to physical therapy and I became interested in pelvic health after seeing the transformation that occurred in a friend after she went through pelvic physical therapy. Additionally, I have dealt with some pelvic dysfunction and my personal experience as a patient solidified my choice. PT is my second career; I worked in film for fifteen years which sharpened my ability to adapt, think critically, and develop excellent communication skills.
