📋 Requirements
- Complete all required coursework listed below through the Academy. You may complete the webinar courses in ANY order. You must complete the OB Ante Webinar or OB Post Webinar before the OB AntePost Lab. You must complete OB Intra Webinar before the OB Intra Lab.
- Physical Therapy for Pregnancy Webinar (OB Ante Webinar)
- Physical Therapy for Postpartum Webinar (OB Post Webinar)
- Physical Therapy for Labor and Birth Webinar (OB Intra Webinar)
- Physical Therapy for the Medically Complex Pregnancy (OB-Med On-Demand)
- Physical Therapy for Pregnancy and Postpartum Lab (OB AntePost Lab)
- Physical Therapy for Labor and Birth Lab (OB Intra Lab)
- Pass exams and competency assessments (80% or higher)
- Submit Case (PT) or Treatment (PTA) Reflection within 1 year after the last course
External coursework cannot be used toward certification requirements.
⏱ Timeline
- Complete coursework within 5 years
- Submit final reflection within 1 year after the last course
- Review timeline: ~4–6 weeks
- If you do not pass initially, you will be asked to revise your case reflection and submit a revised case for review.
- Plan your coursework progression to stay on track and avoid delays.
💳 Application & Review Fees
A one-time fee is required when submitting your final Case or Treatment Reflection.
