Professional Bio

“I became a physical therapist almost 20 years ago as a vocation to fulfill my excitement for empowering people to live full and joyful lives. I’ve found that going deep in connection to identify the source of both happiness and hindrance for people makes my practice particularly effective. I chose to specialize in pelvic health 15 years ago after finding that dysfunction in that area of the body can be incredibly limiting. I have extensive experience treating chronic pain conditions. And 10 years ago, I became certified in cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema management to support the growing number of survivors in our community.

I’m pleased to say my continuing education in so vast that I can no longer list my courses and certifications succinctly. I’ve studied with APTA, Herman & Wallace, the Barral Institute, Klose Training, Core Exercise Solutions, and Snowden & Litos. I work with women, but also with kids, men, and transgender individuals. Pain, bladder dysfunction, bowel health, peri- and menopause, and sexual dysfunction are in my regular repertoire. In addition to the work I do, I promise to use my referral network to find other providers who contribute different skills, should the need arise. I started my wellness career in fitness and marketing and continue to teach cycling at the YWCA of Minneapolis where I have worked for over 25 years."
