Professional Bio
I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University and hold a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Springfield College. I have a background in performance physical therapy, including clinical experience at EXOS, where I worked with athletes and active individuals to improve movement, strength, and overall performance. I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which allows me to integrate advanced performance principles into my pelvic health care. I founded Monarch Training Systems and specialize in helping women recover from conditions such as pelvic girdle pain, pregnancy-related low back pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and vaginismus, while safely returning to a high level of activity. I have completed training from the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Pelvic Level 1, as well as PRI Myokinematic Restoration, which informs how I tailor care to each individual. I love working closely with patients, helping them feel strong, confident, and back in control of their bodies so they can return to the activities they love.
At Monarch Training Systems, we offer pelvic floor and women’s health physical therapy that treats the whole person, blending orthopedic care, education, and nervous system support to help women feel heard, understood, and empowered to trust their body. Dr. Taylor Tattan has areas of interest in pelvic floor physical therapy and low back pain which includes conditions such as pelvic girdle pain (PGP), sacroiliac joint dysfunction, pubic symphysis dysfunction, pregnancy-related pain management and movement support, pregnancy-related low back pain, sciatica, urinary incontinence (stress, urge, mixed), pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti abdominis (DRA), core instability and pressure management dysfunction, postpartum recovery and return-to-impact limitations.
