Professional Bio

As a licensed physical therapist and certified Pilates instructor, Ms. Hahn is first and foremost a pioneering and empathetic advocate of women’s health. With 36 years of experience evaluating and treating the human body, she now focuses on helping women improve their movement and function by strengthening the abdominal, spinal, and pelvic floor muscles.

Having founded Austin’s first women’s health program dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor disorders, Ms. Hahn is deeply interested in empowering women to overcome pelvic health issues such as urinary incontinence, pelvic floor weakness, pelvic pain, prenatal and postpartum concerns. She is particularly interested in helping this group of women, as these issues, which most find embarrassing to discuss, significantly affect the quality of a woman’s life.

Beyond the scope of her practice, Ms. Hahn strives to educate and empower the millions of women who are affected by poor pelvic health. She co-authored A Woman’s Guide to Pelvic Health: Expert Advice for Women of All Ages, published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2012. This guidebook teaches women how to restore pelvic health by following a pelvic exercise program, which has proven effective for hundreds of women.

Stephanie is currently practicing at the Relate Center, a collaborative physical therapy and psychotherapy practice in the Westlake area. She provides physical therapy services and Pilates instruction for private and duet clients. In December, Ms. Hahn will be opening a new facility in Westlake, Longevity PT + Pilates, so she can expand her offerings.
