Dr. Maryssa is an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties certified Women’s Health clinical specialist and co-founder of Bodyful Physical Therapy and Wellness. She is originally from the Bay Area with 25 years of experience in somatic movement therapy practices including Feldenkrais and Body-Mind Centering®. She works with adult populations, with a focus on persistent, complex pelvic pain and trauma-sensitive care for all self-identified genders. She is enrolled in the Somatic Movement Educator (SME) program with the school for Body-Mind Centering®. This SME program is approved by the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). Dr. Maryssa’s practice is informed by her evolving embodiment and commitment to community, solidarity, and anti-racist practice.
