Professional Bio

Dr. Kristen is a pelvic health physical therapist and recent graduate of the UNC Pelvic and Women’s Health Residency program. She is driven by a passion for advancing evidence-based care for women across their lifespan. Kristen enjoys supporting patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, guiding individuals through pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and helping folks feel informed, confident, and empowered in their own health journeys.

Born and raised in northern Virginia, she later moved south to complete her higher education in Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Global Health Studies with a minor in Philosophy from Mercer University, where she developed a deep interest in women’s health advocacy. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Georgia Southern University, where her interest in pelvic health solidified into a career path.

With 18 years of cheerleading experience, Kristen brings a lifelong connection to movement, athletic performance, and injury awareness—perspectives that shape her holistic and compassionate approach to patient care. Outside the clinic, she enjoys recreational running, walking her dog, and cozying up with a good book.
