San Francisco Bay Area. She received her clinical doctorate degree from the University of Miami and went on to pursue advanced training in Women's Health from an accredited residency program at Duke University. She treats a wide variety of pelvic health related diagnoses affecting both men and women including pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, bowel and bladder dysfunction, and pre- and post-pregnancy related musculoskeletal dysfunctions. She received her certification in lymph edema therapy from the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy and also specializes in the treatment of lymph edema and cancer care rehabilitation with a particular interest in breast cancer rehabilitation. She is an active member of pelvic health special interest groups as well as the American Physical Therapy Association. She is a board member of the APTA section on women's health and contributes to item writing for the American Board of Physical Therapy Women's Health Specialist Examination. She is a teaching assistant for Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitaion Institute and an invited speaker for national and regional conferences including the APTA annual Combined Sections Meeting and online continuing education institutes, including www.physicaltherapy.com.
