Kira Negrete

Kira Negrete was born and raised in sunny Southern California prior to making the move to Oregon to attend Pacific University where she concluded her 17 year long competitive soccer career and earned her undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science Integrated Physiology and Spanish. While studying at Pacific University she was president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Exercise Science Club, Secretary of the PNW Conference S.A.A.C. & a member of a variety of clubs…safe to say she loved leadership roles & community engagement! During her time at George Fox University, she served as secretary on the APTA Oregon Student Leadership Committee, attended APTA Oregon Cultural & Minority Affairs Committee meetings and was presented with the Generous Service Award. She is currently a member of the APTA OR Continuing Education Committee, a teaching/lab assistant in the George Fox DPT program and has TA experience with the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Kira is passionate about advocacy for marginalized populations and breaking the stigma surrounding pelvic care by creating a safe space for individuals of all identities and walks of life. With her history of being involved in competitive sports, she also obtained her strength and conditioning certification to help individuals meet their performance goals. Kira aims to provide equitable person-centered care through evidence-based practice to a diverse patient population. When she’s not in the clinic she enjoys traveling around the world, watching soccer, taking care of her plant babies & reading a good book.
