Professional Bio

Katie Landier is a licensed Physical Therapist, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy, NCPT® Certified Pilates Instructor, meditation teacher, and Founder of Day One Physical Therapy and Pilates. Being of service and inspiring change are at the core of Katie’s work. Physical therapy and Pilates have allowed her to combine these passions through movement, education, and meaningful connection.

Although Katie is a geriatric specialist by training, becoming a mother in 2024 deepened her understanding of the importance of pelvic health across the lifespan. Her clinical focus now centers on pelvic health for all individuals, including those who are pregnant, postpartum, perimenopausal, postmenopausal, and anyone experiencing pelvic pain, incontinence, pain with sex, or core and pelvic floor dysfunction.

A Henderson native, Katie earned her B.S. in Exercise Science from Creighton University in 2015 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2017. She earned her Geriatric Clinical Specialty (GCS) certification in 2020. Her background includes inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and private practice before founding Day One Physical Therapy and Pilates.

Katie has completed Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Level 1 and 2B, the PelviEd online mentorship program, and The Heather Hirsch Academy’s Mastering Menopause for Allied Healthcare Providers. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based care that is holistic, empowering, accessible, and sustainable. Katie’s mission is to help people regain confidence in their bodies so they can pursue and enjoy whatever makes their hearts sing.
