Professional Bio

I am a University Master of Physiotherapy based in Zagreb, Croatia, with a clinical focus on pelvic health, women’s and men’s pelvic floor rehabilitation, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum care, scar rehabilitation and post-operative recovery.

My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, with my thesis focusing on the importance of physical activity during pregnancy. I have also contributed to professional and academic work through publication and conference activity, reflecting my commitment to evidence-informed physiotherapy and continued professional development.
In clinical practice, I work with women and men presenting with pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic and chronic pelvic pain, urinary and bowel dysfunction, sexual pain and dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy- and postpartum-related concerns, abdominal and pelvic scars, diastasis recti, and post-operative rehabilitation.

My approach is based on individualized assessment and clinical reasoning, combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement-based rehabilitation, scar management, education, and functional retraining according to each patient’s presentation and goals.
I work within a multidisciplinary clinical environment and collaborate with gynecology professionals when appropriate, allowing pelvic health physiotherapy to be integrated into a broader clinical pathway.
My previous professional experience has also included working with patients with complex psychiatric and psychosocial presentations, as well as survivors of sexual violence. This has contributed to a sensitive, patient-centered, and trauma-informed approach, particularly in pelvic health assessment and treatment.

I am committed to continuous international postgraduate education and to further developing my clinical practice in pelvic health, women’s and men’s health, fertility-related physiotherapy, pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, complex pelvic pain, and post-operative care.

Practice Description

I provide pelvic health physiotherapy in Zagreb, Croatia, for women and men with pelvic floor dysfunction and related conditions.

My clinical work includes urinary and bowel dysfunction, pelvic and chronic pelvic pain, dyspareunia and sexual pain, vaginismus, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, cesarean section and other abdominal or pelvic scars, diastasis recti, post-operative rehabilitation, fertility-related physiotherapy and male pelvic health.

Assessment and treatment are individualized and based on evidence-informed clinical reasoning. Depending on the patient’s presentation, rehabilitation may include manual therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, movement and functional retraining, scar management and education aimed at improving symptoms, function and confidence in daily life.

Where appropriate, care is coordinated within a multidisciplinary clinical setting and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

My broader background in musculoskeletal, orthopedic and post-operative rehabilitation allows me to consider the pelvic floor in the context of the whole body rather than as an isolated system.

I place particular importance on clear communication, patient autonomy and a respectful, trauma-informed approach, especially when working with persistent pain, sexual pain and complex pelvic health presentations.
