Professional Bio
Debra Goldman, P.T., M.A., PRPC, started out in the sports medicine/orthopedic settings in NYC for 12 years before finding her passion as a pelvic health specialist. She also created a practice within NYC's only freestanding midwifery run birthing center in 1999. After moving to NJ, she dove into the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Health coursework and is proud to have been mentored by Kathe Wallace and Holly Herman and many other over the years. In addition to starting her own private practice in 2004, Debra worked along side a hospital based urogynecologist for 8 years and presented Grand Rounds on several pelvic health issues. Thousands and thousands of patients later, Debra loves helping all people with a pelvis, including people who are suffering from endometriosis, painful sex, post-op hysterectomy care, pregnancy related pain, postpartum recovery, perimenopausal and menopausal related issues. Debra is an avid weightlifting, menopausal athlete who has experienced recurrent miscarriage, pelvic pain after a C section at 41, perimenopausal symptoms and is now thriving in menopause. She is a passionate advocate for women's reproductive and sexual health as well as supporting the rights of all genders to receive the care they need. She welcomes people of all genders to her practice and promotes compassionate care with specialized expertise.
