Professional Bio
Deborah is the developer of “The Pelvic Girdle Musculoskeletal MethodSM (the PGM MethodSM) which provides a simple step-by-step approach to treating sacroiliac and pelvic girdle pain. Since 2011, Deborah has educated other practitioners on the PGM MethodSM through physical therapy continuing education courses and presentations at state, national and international conferences, as well as physical therapy doctoral programs. Deborah has written two self-help books based on this method: “Sacroiliac Pain” and “Back and Pelvic Girdle Pain in Pregnancy and Postpartum,” and has published “What You Need to Know About Sacroiliac Dysfunction” Orthopaedic Nursing 2023. She has extensive clinical experience during her 30 years as a practicing physical therapist at MetroHealth Medical Center, a large urban county hospital, and now is dedicated to health education through her company Riczo Health Education. She provides ongoing consumer education through social media (@RiczoHealthEducation on Instagram and YouTube) and does limited virtual consults.
