Practice Description
I am a PM&R physician with more than 20 years of clinical experience, focusing on pelvic rehabilitation in recent years. Trained as both a physician (Taiwan PM&R) and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (USA), I integrate medical evaluation, evidence-based pelvic health physical therapy, ultrasound imaging, EMG biofeedback, and pelvic-focused dry needling.
My clinical interests include pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, postpartum pelvic recovery, sexual health, core coordination, and myofascial dysfunction of the lumbopelvic-hip region. I work with both female and male patients, and have developed effective strategies for managing chronic pelvic pain, pelvic floor overactivity, and post-surgical or functional pelvic disorders across genders.
Currently, I serve as an attending PM&R physician at Taichung Tzu Chi Hospital, a visiting pelvic rehabilitation physician at Felicity Clinic (OB-GYN) in Taipei, and a faculty lecturer teaching Pelvic Health Physical Therapy at Tzu Chi University.
Through my work in Taiwan, I have established successful collaborative models with OB-GYN, urogynecology, and women’s health clinics. Although these clinics primarily serve women, I also treat male patients referred for pelvic pain, urinary symptoms, and pelvic floor dysfunction—demonstrating the value of embedding comprehensive pelvic rehabilitation within women’s health settings.
I hope to bring this collaborative model to international women’s health and urology teams, and welcome opportunities to work with urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, urology, and multidisciplinary pelvic health providers worldwide. I am committed to advancing pelvic health through clinical care, education, and international collaboration, with continued interest in developing my work globally, including in the United States.
