Dr. Catherine Lewan PT DPT has 15 years of clinical experience and is currently studying vagal nerve stimulation, dysautonomia and hypermobility spectrum disorders at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston SC. Dysautonomia and hypermobility syndromes present with a variety of multi-systemic symptoms including chronic pain, pelvic pain, gastrointestinal and bladder symptoms. Dr. Lewan has developed a unique approach that prioritizes the patient's wholeness, autonomy, agency and validation of their experience.
