Professional Bio
Throughout her 20 year career, Brita has become proficient in multiple modalities. She believes strongly in hands-on manual methods and takes a patient-centered, holistic approach to physical therapy. Her passion is women's health—particularly pelvic pain, endometriosis, bladder and sexual dysfunction, and postpartum care.
Brita graduated from George Mason University with a BS in psychology. She then graduated from Marymount University to become a physical therapist. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, and the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS).

I have extensive training in the implementation of many manual treatments, including fascial mobilization, visceral manipulation, myofascial release, Graston, Cupping, trigger point release, and various types of joint mobilizations that we can utilize to reduce pain and improve motion. I use functional movement, breathing techniques, and positional strategies to help you recover and start your healing journey.
