Professional Bio

Brenda Gajowski, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy and the owner of She Thrives Physical Therapy and Wellness. She focuses on pelvic health in women, and has a special niche working with women in the prenatal/postpartum period, and throughout the journey of motherhood. She is passionate about educating women on the power of their bodies that comes from the pelvis and pelvic floor to enable them to return to activity and exercise without pain, tension, or leaking. She loves talking about the pelvic floor and all the things that are often whispered about because open conversation leads to awareness and improvement. Brenda has 3 young kids of her own so truly understands the juggle of moms managing many things, including their health and fitness, and loves guiding women in ways to stay in the activities they love without symptoms. She has been a physical therapist for many years and moved into the world of pelvic health and postpartum healing after she had her first baby in 2009 and had to heal her own body to be able to return to the high intensity of exercise that she loves. She is a lifelong learner and is always taking courses to keep up with the advancements in pelvic health, and is certified as a Hesch Sacroiliac Practitioner.
