Nicole M. Woods

Nikki Woods, PT, MS, PRPC, has specialized in pelvic health physical therapy for more than 25 years and was among the first practitioners in the United States to achieve certification in pelvic rehabilitation. In Alabama, she founded and directed one of the state’s first specialty practices dedicated to pelvic health and served as Director of Pelvic Health for a large outpatient private practice. She has been an active leader in professional advocacy as the Alabama State Representative for the Section on Women’s Health (Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy). Currently, she teaches Introduction to Pelvic Floor Dysfunction for doctorate-level physical therapy students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and contributes to the obstetrics and gynecology curriculum. She is passionate about serving patient populations affected by oncology-related surgeries, pelvic pain, and continence disorders.
