Debra Goldman, P.T., M.A., PRPC, is well known since 2004, as a pelvic floor physical therapist in her community of Montclair, N.J. and the surrounding towns. Her expertise in pelvic health, orthopedics and sports training has helped tens of thousands of patients recover and move forward. She started her career in sports medicine/orthopedic settings in NYC for 12 years before finding her passion as a pelvic health specialist. She also created a practice within NYC's only freestanding midwifery run birthing center in 1999. After moving to NJ, she dove into the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Health coursework and is proud to have been mentored by Kathe Wallace and Holly Herman and many other over the years. In addition to starting her own private practice in 2004, Debra worked along side a hospital based urogynecologist for 8 years and presented Grand Rounds on several pelvic health issues. People who are suffering from endometriosis, painful sex, post-op hysterectomy care, pregnancy related pain, postpartum recovery, perimenopausal and menopausal related issues. Debra is an avid weightlifting, menopausal athlete who has experienced recurrent miscarriage, pelvic pain after a C section at 41, perimenopausal symptoms and is now thriving in menopause. She is a passionate advocate for women's reproductive and sexual health as well as supporting the rights of all genders to receive the care they need. She welcomes people of all genders to her practice and promotes compassionate care with specialized expertise.
