Jenny Bagwell, PT, DPT, PhD
Dr. Jenny Bagwell is an assistant professor of Physical Therapy at California State University, Long Beach as well as Associate Editor of the Journal of Women's & Pelvic Health Physical Therapy. Jenny received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Duke University and her PhD in Biokinesiology from the University of Southern California. Her long-term research objective is to improve maternal quality of life and reduce orthopedic pathology. Her research utilizes biomechanical and clinical tools to investigate potentially modifiable factors, such as muscle function and joint demand, as related to orthopedic conditions during and after pregnancy to inform prevention and intervention strategies. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association Academies of Pelvic Health, Physical Therapy Research, and Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and of the Biomechanics Special Interest Group.
Patrícia Mota, PT, PhD
Patrícia Mota is a Women's Health Physical Therapist and got her Ph.D. in Biomechan
