Professional Bio

Dr. Melissa Hemphill earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Baylor University. In her previous career, Melissa was an active duty faculty member in the US Air Force Academy’s Department of Biology after earning both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in Biology from the US Air Force Academy and the University of West Florida, respectively. Melissa also has over a decade of experience as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, CrossFit Level 3 Trainer, and prenatal/ postpartum fitness expert.

Melissa specializes in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy and thrives in the one-on-one, patient-centric environment. She provides attentive, compassionate care so that patients can reach and exceed their goals.

Outside of the clinic, Melissa is a busy mom of four wonderful children. You can typically find her running and jumping at the local track with her family, attending sporting events and art performances of every kind imaginable, and finding new ways to fill the rarely-satiated appetites of her growing kids.
