Professional Bio

WellWomanPT is a physical therapy outpatient practice that specializes in women's pelvic health physical therapy. I personally have over 30 years of experience, 25 in women's health and obstetrics, 15 in prenatal/postpartum exercise training, 6 exclusive years with treating women, including vaginal and rectal internal pelvic floor assessments and treatments. I treat women of all ages and stages with concerns of pelvic pain with sexual intercourse/menstruation/tampon use, infertility problems due to scar or inflammatory processes, urinary stress/urge incontinence and bladder pain, constipation and rectal/coccyx pain, child birth preparation, caesarean preparation and recovery, perineum and obstetric injuries including pelvic joint pain/nerve and perineum/ anal spinctor tears/coccyx fractures. I have advanced training in internal pelvic floor work through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute including visceral fascial mobilization. I have a wonderful background including orthopedic, neurologic, and pediatric care and have worked in settings such as labor and delivery units, outpatient clinics, and acute care. My favorite population to work with are women/vulva owners as they often set the foundation in matters of education and health for their children and families. By focusing my practice in treating women I feel I have the most influence in helping the world’s future achieve healthier happier lives. I do also offer services to my clients’ males and children however I do not actively market this. My practice is cozy, boutique, and relaxing. Women feel hope, relief, and excitement each visit. Here’s to getting bodies ( minds) back so we can do “all the things” we love…for life!
