Professional Bio

Elizabeth is a physical therapist in practice since 1987 and owner/founder of CorePhysio. She is a 1987 graduate of Marquette University’s program in physical therapy and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) through Evidence in Motion in 2016. She completed the Executive Program in Private Practice Management through EIM in 2015. Additionally Hampton has earned specialized certifications in Women’s Health Physical Therapy (TWU), childbirth & doula education, Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation, as well as Board Certification in Pelvic Muscle Dysfunction Biofeedback through the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA). Elizabeth earned her Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy (WCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2009. She earned Board Certification as a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC) through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute in 2019. The PRPC credentials denote specialty knowledge relating to pelvic health in all genders and ages.

Since 2006, Elizabeth has been faculty for the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, providing continuing education courses on pelvic floor dysfunction to health care providers across the United States. Elizabeth is a published author in the field of pelvic health rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Sections on Women’s Health, Orthopedics & Private Practice, the Private Practice Special Interest Group (PPSIG) as well as the Washington State Physical Therapy Association. She is the proud mum of Davis and Finn, and wife of Mike, who is an exceptional human being and also a PT. Elizabeth enjoys studying languages (enthusiastic about yet not remotely fluent in German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian), and riding her bike as much as possible.

Mentorship is goal-driven and focused on the vision of an actively engaged mentee. Look for a mentor who listens carefully, confirms they understand your goals and questions, and has the communication skills to encourage you to think differently, challenge your assumptions and evolve towards the human being and clinician you want to be. 1:1 mentorship fees are $150/hr, 4 sessions for $580. Group mentorship pricing depends on the size of the group.
