Guest Speakers
Mamawah Bourque, PT, DPT
Dr. Mamawah Bourque is a pelvic floor physical therapist and owner of Awareness Pelvic Health, a premier Pelvic Floor Therapy practice in Houston Heights. She volunteers as the State Representative in the Academy of Pelvic Health where she hopes to continue to expand access to pelvic health education to her community. Her practice helps men and women heal from complex pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction as well as bowel, bladder and pregnancy/postpartum issues. Dr. Bourque has spoken locally and nationally on various pelvic floor issues including a returning guest on Fox 26 Houston's late night show "The Nightcap". With over 12 years of experience as a physical therapist, she is passionate about treating complex tough to treat issues and providing holistic care to her community.

Dr. Tijerina plays a key role in IPC’s course development team, creating innovative, practical education to empower clinicians entering the field of male pelvic rehab. He is also a mentor and moderator for the Pelvic Tribe community, supporting therapists through case consultation, coaching calls, and clinical problem-solving. Through all of his work, Dr. Tijerina is committed to expanding access, confidence, and quality in male pelvic care.
