About the Presenter
Rebeca Segraves, PT, DPT is a Board Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist with a passion for optimizing early recovery immediately after delivery, abdominal surgery, and cancer treatment in the acute care setting. She is the founder of Enhanced Recovery After Delivery™, a multimodal pathway that incorporates physical and occupational therapy as standard of care, before and after birth, to optimize maternal health outcomes in the United States.
Rebeca Segraves, PT, DPT earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Western Carolina University and completed residency training in Women’s Health Physical Therapy at Duke University. Dr. Segraves is Board-Certified as a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist and practices in acute care and outpatient settings. Clinically, her focus is on expanding inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to include patients immediately post (0 – 2 weeks) cesarean section and hysterectomy. She lectures in multi-disciplinary clinical and academic settings with an emphasis on earlier utilization of physical and occupational therapy to enhance recovery after OB/GYN and oncology procedures.
