Now Accepting CSM 2027 Proposals
Pre-Conference
We’re excited to announce that we are now accepting speaker proposals for the 2027 CSM Pre-Conference! Next year’s pre-conference will be 8 hours in duration and focus on hands-on lab sessions and creative, interdisciplinary collaboration. We are especially interested in innovative, skills-based lab concepts, including combined sessions with midwives and doulas, that bring fresh, practical learning experiences to our community.
We also welcome other interactive and creative pre-conference session ideas. Proposals that include participatory, lab-based, or highly engaging learning activities are strongly encouraged and will be viewed as a plus.
We’re looking for proposals that:
- Emphasize interactive, hands-on learning
- Showcase innovative lab concepts and practical skill development
- Explore collaborative models with doulas and/or midwives
- Offer fresh ideas that attendees can immediately apply in practice
- If you have a dynamic idea for a lab, a collaborative concept, or a creative approach to skills-based education, we would love to hear from you.

Education Session Proposals
Education sessions will be 90 minutes long. As you prepare your proposal(s), please ensure your content is designed to effectively cover these specific timeframes. Ensure that your submission meets all requirements by reviewing the session proposal guidelines linked below.
Pre-con & Session Submission deadline: April 15, 2026, 11:59 p.m. PT
Notification date: Will be sent by June 2026.
