NABPT CAPP Course Scholarship
2026 Award Cycle
In 2026, the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy (APTA Pelvic Health) is proud to continue its partnership with the National Association of Black Physical Therapists (NABPT) to expand access to pelvic and obstetric health physical therapy education and grow the number of skilled clinicians advancing the pelvic health field.
Through this collaboration, the NABPT is offering two (2) CAPP course scholarships sponsored by APTA Pelvic Health to support physical therapists (PTs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), and student physical therapists (SPTs) in advancing their clinical expertise through the Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy programs (CAPP-Pelvic and CAPP-OB).
These scholarships are designed to help remove financial barriers, foster professional growth, and strengthen representation within the pelvic and obstetric health specialty of the physical therapy profession. By investing in emerging and established clinicians, this initiative supports our shared commitment to excellence and improved patient outcomes across communities.

NABPT will oversee the application and selection process for scholarship recipients. Selected recipients will be awarded a course scholarship, which can be applied toward courses in pelvic health through the Academy’s Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy in Pelvic Health or Obstetric Health (CAPP-Pelvic / CAPP-OB) programs.
