Join your California State Representative, Doris Cai PT, DPT, for an in-person screening of the new film The (M) Factor 2: Before the Pause!
This event will begin with a screening of the documentary The (M) Factor 2: Before the Pause, followed by a facilitated group discussion on perimenopause and menopause. The film highlights the physical, emotional, and social impacts of hormonal transition and the importance of awareness and supportive care during this stage of life. After the screening, participants will reflect on key insights from the documentary and discuss how these perspectives may inform their clinical practice, particularly in recognizing perimenopausal symptoms and supporting patients through education, early identification, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

- Identify common physical and systemic symptoms experienced during perimenopause.
- Understand how perimenopause can affect women’s participation in the workplace and daily activities.

- Explore how pelvic health physical therapists can support patients through early education, symptom recognition, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve women’s health outcomes.
