The CAPP Committee values diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We believe that all patients have the right to a safe environment where they feel respected and included.
Language and understanding are important no matter what gender, race, sexual preference, age, or accessibility.
We strive to ensure our courses and education are also in line with these values.
We are committed to updating our material and teaching methods to be inclusive to reflect our society, patients, and physical therapy professionals.
We understand that genitals do not equal gender.
For continuity of terminology used in research, we will use binary gendered terms for the purpose of this course.
