Professional Bio

Dr. Katie Mars is a passionate physical therapist, co-owner of Resolute Physical Therapy, and a former 3-sport athlete who truly understands the challenges of staying active while recovering from injury. After experiencing her own share of sports injuries, Dr. Katie was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy, focusing on sports rehab, injury prevention, and movement optimization for athletes of all ages and activity levels.

As a recreational CrossFitter and mom of two, Dr. Katie is deeply committed to staying active and healthy through all stages of life. Her personal experience with pregnancy and postpartum recovery led her to specialize in pregnancy and postpartum orthopedic conditions. After the birth of her first child, Dr. Katie sought out advanced training in birth education and postpartum recovery. She’s now one of the few physical therapists in New York State to earn the prestigious CAPP-OB certification (Certified in Pregnancy and Postpartum Physical Therapy), making her uniquely qualified to help women navigate the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and recovery.

Her approach is both compassionate and evidence-based, combining hands-on therapy with functional exercises to help her patients achieve their goals—whether it’s recovering from an injury, improving mobility, managing osteoporosis, or optimizing performance. Dr. Katie believes that movement is key to overall health and wellness, and she’s committed to making sure each of her patients feels confident and empowered in their bodies.
