Student Clinical Affiliation Description
Full-time affiliation with PT who works with pelvic health, pediatrics, and neuro, as well as overflow acute care and ortho in a critical access hospital. The therapist cannot provide only pelvic floor full time; therapist's pelvic floor caseload is typically anywhere from 2-8 patients/ week.
Student Clinical Affiliation Requirements
Recommend that student has completed advanced/ 2nd year coursework in neuro and pediatrics, as well as whatever pelvic health coursework school offers. CI does not currently require student to have taken Pelvic Heath Level 1 course. Student must be comfortable with observing and learning about internal and external exams.
