Professional Bio
Hi! I’m Aubrey Kern, a physical therapist who specializes in abdominal and pelvic dysfunction and owner of Flourish Pelvic Therapy. I am originally from Akron, Ohio but received my Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating with my doctorate in 2014, I immediately began treating pelvic health patients. I am an adjunct faculty at the University of Dayton’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, leading their Advanced Therapy Series in Pelvic Health. Helping to educate and spark passion in students for this type of physical therapy is something that brings me great joy! I have a strong passion for helping all people with chronic abdominal and pelvic pain, bowel or bladder issues, and sexual dysfunction.
I have worked hard to be highly trained and skilled to best serve my patients. Ensuring my patients feel they are in a safe, nurturing environment where I can help and resolve their symptoms and facilitate healing is of the utmost importance to me. I strive to provide excellent care while also having great relationships with many other providers in the area including massage therapists, chiropractors, physical therapists, specialty providers, mental health therapists, and many more to help treat the whole person.
I currently live in Springboro, Ohio with my husband and two sons. Outside of work I enjoy playing with my kids and pets, listening to music, and working in my garden
