Virtual Pop-Up Proposals Due | Male Sexual Health Across the Lifespan
The Male Pelvic Health SIG is seeking session proposals for their event Virtual Pop-Up Proposals Due | Male Sexual Health Across the Lifespan (Scheduled tentatively for September 22, 2026, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM EST).
This educational pop-up session is designed for physical therapists seeking to deepen their understanding of male sexual health across all stages of life. Using an evidence-based approach, we will explore the interplay between musculoskeletal function, pelvic floor health, hormonal changes, and psychosocial factors that influence sexual well-being from adolescence to older adulthood.
This event directly supports the Academy of Pelvic Health’s mission to advance pelvic and abdominal health physical therapy by equipping clinicians with evidence-based knowledge and tools to address male sexual health across the lifespan —an often underrepresented area in pelvic health practice. By deepening our understanding of the physical, functional, and psychosocial components of male sexual well-being, physical therapists can not only elevate the standard of care within the profession but empower patients to have fulfilling sexual lives. In doing so, we fulfill our broader goal to serve society through inclusive, whole-person, and lifespan-oriented pelvic health care.
