Karen is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Women's Health Physical Therapy, holds CAPP (Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy) Certification and is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She has special interest in Pregnancy-Related Rehab, particularly Obstetric Anal Sphincter Injury (OASIS) Rehab, Vulvodynia, Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome, Pudendal Neuralgia and Chronic Pelvic Pain.

Karen lectures for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University and plays an integral role in the PEAPOD clinic, a multi-disciplinary clinic for those recovering from OASIS.
