CAPP Opportunities
Become a faculty member for the Certificate of Advanced Practice in Physical Therapy in Pelvic Health or Obstetric Health (CAPP-Pelvic / CAPP-OB) program.
- CAPP Volunteer Teaching Assistant (VTA)- to become a paid Teaching Assistant, you must first serve as a Volunteer Teaching Assistant (VTA)
- CAPP Instructor - The applicant must complete the Academy's structured process designed to develop qualified instructors for CAPP-Pelvic and CAPP-OB courses. Potential instructors, known as Mentees, undergo a multi-stage professional development journey under the guidance of experienced Mentors, culminating in a comprehensive review for promotion to Instructor status. The program emphasizes practical teaching experience, constructive feedback, and alignment with APHPT educational standards to ensure effective delivery of educational content. Potential future instructors must successfully complete and pass the Instructor Mentoring Program to demonstrate that they qualify to teach Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy CAPP-Pelvic and CAPP-OB courses.
