Dr. Julianna Allen is a Board-Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist. She has been practicing in the fields of pelvic health and pregnancy & postpartum care since 2015. She was drawn to treating pelvic health, as pelvic floor dysfunction is often not discussed and goes untreated. She aspires to empower people with pelvic floor dysfunction and reduce the burden of living with pelvic floor symptoms. After working at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Emerson Hospital, she started Embrace Pelvic Health to improve the accessibility of pelvic health physical therapy and provide personal and compassionate care. Dr. Julianna Allen graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She completed her undergraduate work at Vassar College with a degree in Psychology. She is a member of the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, the American Physical Therapy Association, the Global Pelvic Health Alliance, and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH). In her free time, Dr. Julianna Allen enjoys rock climbing, playing board and tabletop games, weight lifting, and running.
