Professional Bio
Dr. Millicent “MiMi” McFarland was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and currently resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology/Pre-Physical Therapy degree from the University of Louisiana-Monroe in May 2019, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the illustrious Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in May 2023. After completing her undergraduate internship with a pelvic floor therapist, Dr. MiMi’s life goal was to be a part of this niche specialty. She currently practices outpatient orthopedic and pelvic floor therapy in Frisco, Texas, at PT Solutions Physical Therapy Frisco West. Dr. MiMi has begun receiving her education in Pelvic Health through the APTA Pelvic Academy and will continue learning more within the specialty as she grows as a clinician. She loves treating male and female pelvic floor dysfunctions, which includes pre- and post-partum mothers. Dr. MiMi has completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency to become an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Fun Fact: Dr. MiMi is also a licensed funeral director and owns a funeral home with her family in Louisiana.
