DR. ALISON ANKIEWICZ, PT, DPT PHYSICAL THERAPIST AND CO-OWNER Alison is a doctor of physical therapy who has been working with the pelvic health clientele for over 18 years. Her clinical expertise has been well received and respected by her clients as well as many physicians and healthcare professionals in her community and the tri-state area. Dr. Ankiewicz works with many men and women as well as adolescents dealing with bladder and bowel issues, pelvic pain, reproductive and sexual dysfunction. Each client is provided individual one on-one care for 45-60 minutes. Her clinical skills and expertise enable her clients to lead a full functional and comfortable lifestyle. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ankiewicz was an adjunct professor for Columbia University for 10 years and now a guest lecturer for Rowan University s Doctor of Physical Therapy Programs. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Section of Women s Health where she held the NJ State chair and vice chair positions for 8 years. She has attended several educational courses in the realm of pelvic health and has assisted with instructing national courses on the East Coast. Dr. Ankiewicz has offered and continues to offer workshops for the community and local hospitals as well as hosting doctor of physical therapy student affiliations with a focus on pelvic health. With her new partner, she is pleased to announce the opening of her new practice  Inner Dynamics Physical Therapy Pelvic Health and Wellness Center. In a short time, she has facilitated the growth of her practice which now includes 5 pelvic health physical therapists. More recently, she has been doing extensive research and working on case studies to support the efficacy of physical therapy for Mondor's disease found in post breast cancer clients. In addition, she has been working with radiation oncologists to prevent vaginal stenosis with gynecological cancer survivors. Alison s time outside of her office is well spent with her two teenagers and husband as well as her dogs. She enjoys running with her dogs, golfing, and relaxing on the beach with her family.
