As a member-driven professional association, we deeply value the process of identifying and nurturing our member volunteers and potential leaders. Elected Positions

Our Nominating Committee works diligently each year to assemble a diverse array of candidates for all available elected positions. Your active participation in this process is instrumental in ensuring the Academy's ongoing growth and innovation in the field of pelvic health physical therapy. On this page, you'll find information about the positions slated for the 2024 elections. Except for the Student SIG Directors elected in 2024, who will assume office in August 2024, all others elected in 2024 will commence their roles in February 2025. During our open house, we will provide in-depth insights into each position and offer guidance on self-nomination, nominating a fellow member, and the application submission and vetting process.

In our fast-paced lives, finding time for volunteering can be challenging. Nevertheless, the rewards of volunteering are immeasurable for both you and your professional community. Volunteering provides opportunities for networking, forging new friendships, and acquiring new skills. All volunteer positions are open to currently active APTA Pelvic Health members.
