Artemis Physical Therapy, PLLC
Artemis is the greek goddess of, among other things, wild nature and childbirth. At Artemis Physical Therapy, I draw inspiration from this archetype as I work to help patients feel better in their bodies with a focus on pelvic health, and based in the Adirondacks of upstate NY. Most often associated with postpartum women, the practice of pelvic floor physical therapy has expanded to include patients of all ages, and all across the gender spectrum. While I remain passionate about maternal health and offer services specific to this group, I am not limited in what patients or diagnoses I can work with. The understanding of how integral pelvic floor function is to whole-body mobility has also grown. I use the holistic lens of a pelvic health practitioner in all of my care. Maximizing a patient s function, understanding of their bodies, and independence are key tenets in my practice.
