The Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy is excited to announce the first Maryland Pelvic Health in-person meetup. Please join the Academy's Maryland state representative Laura Scheufele and Secretary, Kelly Huestis, for pizza, networking, and brain stimulation. We are fortunate to have the esteemed gynecologist Dr. Golsa Yazdy speaking on "Common Vulvovaginal Conditions."

Objectives

  • Review vulvar anatomy and embryology
  • Discuss hormonal etiologies of vulvovaginal concerns and their treatments
  • Review the presentation and management of common vulvar skin conditions
  • Discuss causes of vulvovaginal pain and vulvodynia
  • Review common causes of vaginitis

Golsa Yazdy MD
Golsa Yazdy, MD

Dr. Golsa Yazdy is an assistant professor in the Johns Hopkins Medicine Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Her areas of clinical interest include sexual health, vulvar skin conditions, and vaginitis. Dr. Yazdy empowers each patient to participate in their obstetrics and gynecology care through compassion and education. She is dedicated to providing the best possible care to women across the lifespan.
